With a thoughtful approach to structuring campers’ days, activities, professional instruction, courses, and courts are tailored to each child’s age and ability. All campers benefit from cooling off in our heated pool and satisfying their appetite with a healthy meal at our Lunch Box cafe.

RACQUETS & GOLF SPORTS ACADEMY
For rising 5th through 10th-grade boys and girls, Racquets & Golf Sports Academy blends 2 full days and 3 half days of Racquets Academy with 3 half days of Golf Academy. The 3 half days of Golf will be Wednesday through Friday mornings. Racquets clinics emphasize tennis, squash, and pickleball while Golf clinics will run the gamut from putting to driving and course play. No club or racquet will be left unturned!

This is a 3-Day or 5-Day camp. The Golf portion will be held Wednesday to Friday mornings, so if your camper wants to focus on Golf, when registering, you should check the "Racquets and Golf" option and choose the 5-day option or the 3-Day option with a selection of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

The Golf portion of camp is led by our PGA-certified Pro, Lou Rivers, and his talented staff in our practice area and 18-hole Donald Ross golf course. We teach the game's traditions, etiquette, rules, and technique. Campers will train on our putting green, two driving range areas, pitch, and putt area and have some time on our course.

Our high-energy racquets camp, taught by USPTA-certified instructors and counselors, will help get campers' tennis play to the next level. Throughout the day, campers will be alternating sport-specific racquet drills, agility, and footwork drills, and matchplay aimed at improved court movement and general motor skills.
Unique to Agawam is the ability to hone tennis skills on three different surfaces: hard courts (indoors), clay courts (Har-Tru), and our 10 grass courts!

On hot (and not-so-hot) days, campers love to cool off in our sun-soaked pool.
Lunch is included! At Noon, campers will enjoy lunch prepared by Agawam’s chefs.
In the afternoon, all campers will participate in a team sport in the racquet sport of the day. Matchplay is aimed at creating camaraderie among peers and reinforcing inclusiveness and participation for all. All matches will be supervised by an instructor to provide feedback on gameplay.
