Agawam Hunt protects open space in East Providence in partnership with the Nature Conservancy

In an innovative partnership, The Nature Conservancy paid $2 million for the development rights to about two-thirds of the historic club’s grounds in the heart of Rumford, 82 acres that include the majority of its 18-hole golf course and a half-mile corridor of woods and wetlands along the Ten Mile River.
